*comes in with several strapping servants who set up tables in the square*

We are preparing for our Christmas Festival. We start this evening. Would you like to set up a booth?

*muscians begin playing Christmas music in the background" I have hired muscians so we may enjoy and dance.

Who's helping make food? smile.gif

TURKEY! Yammie... biggrin.gif

We're not really celebrating it, but my mum had an idea.. I'l tell you about it.

[I]Everybody buys 3 or more presents for small amounts of money, then you all put them (wrapped in off course) on the table. Then everybody can trow a dice and with number 1 you can take a present with 2 you have to give oone away if you trow 3 you have to give one of yours to the person right of you and so on. (you can make your own rules) Then if all presents are divided you all trow again one at a time and you can un-wrap a gift... 1 = your own 2= your neighbors.. etc...
It's supposed to be fun... tongue.gif

*hands alena a lovely Adventurine stone (basically a green quartz) on a silver chain*

well... my family celebrates christmas, but i like to hold a small celebration on my own. I celebrate Yule, the winter solstice. It is a pagan holiday (or Sabbat) celebrated from December 21-23 and it is a time to celebrated the rebirth of Light (since the amount of time the sun is out increases from then on). The celebration is pretty much the same. Family, food, fun... lol. Basically its Christmas without any reference to Jesus or God (since i don't believe in the Christian God)

Cool, anyone else?

We also have to go to sevearl different Christmases, one of which we are doing at my house this year! We usually have a prayer or read the Bible to remind us of the true meaning of CHRISTmas, open gifts in rememberance of the Gift of Christ, and then eat!

Of course we always eat too much, and the guys watch football while the ladies clean up and then we usually take a nap. Christmas night we always go to see a movie. The theater isn't crowded then!
